Due to the poor feed intake and loss of body fat that occurs during the first few days of post-weaning, the nursery room temperatures should be raised slightly from the temperature in the farrowing house. The nursery temperature can be lowered as the pigs become older, heavier and accumulate more body fat. Feed Profeeds Weaner Meal ad lib, from Day 29 up to Day 56, after which gradually change over 7 days to Profeeds Pig Grower Meal.
